So for the past 4 months I've been alerting everyone about practice via e-mail. It works for some people, but actually only 1/2 of our crew bother to check their accounts. I wind up having to make a few phone calls regardless, and it takes too much time to organize if I have to speak with people individually. So next weekend I'm moving over to texts because it's faster, easier, & nearly everyone has a cell. I think this will resolve a few of our communication issues.

Another option you can do is set up a twitter account for the club (I think Missoula does this). Then have ppl set up their twitter accts to send the clubs messages to their phones.
Texts are good for me. My phone is always with me.
It would be ideal to have one form of consistent communication but it often doesn't happen when you have a group to deal with.
But I swear, when you get a 10-12 locals come out to the park playing footbag and hanging out all day every Sunday for an entire summer is SSSOOOOOOOOOO worth all the phone calls, emails and texts.
It's like having a mini tournament every weekend, you guys are gonna love it!
